PixelPilot Open-Source Receiver and Display Software

PixelPilot is an OpenIPC community Android application for receiving and decoding H.264/H.265 video streams carried by wfb-ng. The Wiki links to its upstream source code, releases and issue tracker as receiver resources.

Official resources

Checked on 12 September 2026: the Releases page then marked v0.25.0 “Latest.” Check upstream for the current release before installing; that dated observation is not a permanent version recommendation.

Check compatibility before use

Confirm the Android device, USB receiver adapter, software release and transmitter protocol. The upstream README mentions rtl8812au/rtl8812eu adapters, DVR and configurable keys; support depends on the version and hardware.

No verified ZYRO model compatibility list is available yet. H.264/H.265 output alone does not establish that PixelPilot can receive a model's radio protocol. The 1.4 GHz MESH reports do not establish PixelPilot compatibility.

Planned Wiki updates

Validated receiver, Android, USB-adapter and transmitter combinations will be added individually, with resolution, frame rate, recording and audio observations, known issues and test dates. Unboxing and installation videos can then be linked to specific combinations.

PixelPilot belongs to OpenIPC. The upstream repository identifies its license as GPL-3.0; this Wiki links to upstream packages rather than mirroring APK files.
